Slimming Cabbage Soup Recipe!

As winter approaches, you can stay warm and also take advantage of a miracle Dish…  SOUP!

Healthy Soups are GREAT OPTIONS for losing weight because they are filled with fiber, vitamins, and minerals.  They fill you up, and help you detoxify your body.

Here is the official Brazilian Slimming Soup!

CABAGGESOUP

 

Ingredients

1 chopped  cabbage head

1 cup of diced celery

1 cup of diced onions

Baby  carrots at will

1 diced green/red pepper

2 garlic heads

5 cups of low sodium organic chicken broth

1 can of low sodium organic diced tomatoes

1 teaspoon oregano/basil or any other spice that you enjoy.

Low sodium spice sauce. Option- it will give an extra flavor!

Your choice of protein source: 2 chicken breasts cut in cubes- shrimp, red meat or fish,

 

Instructions

In a large pot add  2 tablespoons of olive oil or medium heat.

Add the garlic, onions, bell peppers, carrots, diced tomatoes and the protein (chicken, steak, etc.)

Saute and stir for 10 minutes

Add the chicken broth and the spices

Stir and add the diced cabbage.

Let it cook on medium for 30 minutes until cabbage is fully cooked.

Cook until cabbage is tender.

Add as many veggies and spices as you want.

Serving: 6
